More than just entertainment, these bespoke portraits become keepsakes. Live illustrations can be enjoyed as a standalone experience or beautifully paired with your ceremony painting. Crafted during cocktail hour and the reception, they give guests a timeless and treasured interactive experience.

The Styles

Each illustration style can be further customized with paper options, framing, and presentation details to match your event aesthetic.

Rendered classically around a photo of your guests taken on-site, and completed live within a few minutes. Both elegant entertainment and a modern momento, the guest portrait does it all.

A more stylized take on live guest portraits, with an emphasis on outfits and textures. Featuring elongated figures and expressive linework making them especially well- suited for fashion-forward events or weddings with a standout dress code.

Created either during the event or thoughtfully designed in advance. Live Portrait Cards focus on the face and expression, painted live within a few minutes to offer guests an interactive experience. Pre-created Portrait Cards can be used even more broadly, serving as elegant place settings, favors, or curated keepsakes—designed to seamlessly layer within your event details.

The Details

Our team will connect with you to collaborate on any special enhancements you’d like included with your illustrations—custom paper, framing options, and other personalized details. We’ll handle the planning and production, thoughtfully preparing each element before your event day.

To Have and Hold

On the big day, your artist will arrive prior before the agreed upon event start-time, with all necessary supplies in tow. They’ll begin preparing the space, allowing the guest portrait experience to mesh seamlessly with your celebration, entertaining while constructing cherishable pieces—forever wedding favors.

GUEST PORTRAITS FAQS — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

During an average event night, one artist is able to paint 60–80 guests, at a rate of around 20 guests per hour. This number is calculated based on the number of individual people painted, in both singles’ and couples’ illustrations, not based on the total number of portraits completed.
We’re able to illustrate either singles or couples on each piece of paper, as we paint by the hour. Every individual painted, whether a single person or a couple, factors into the total number of portraits we can complete in an event night.
For live illustrations, we standardly utilize 5x7 size watercolor paper. If you already have a different paper size in mind, please let us know during the inquiry phase.
After the illustrations have fully dried, we place them in clear sleeves so they’re well-protected from the elements and can be easily traveled with.
